This incredible flour- and sugar-free yogurt cake is simple, healthy, and moist. Made with Greek yogurt, eggs, honey, and ground nuts, itโs perfect for a guilt-free dessert or snack.
Ingredients
- 400 g unsweetened Greek yogurt
- 4 eggs
- 100 g honey or another sweetener (e.g., agave syrup)
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 100 g ground almonds (or hazelnuts)
- 1 pinch salt
- Optional: fresh fruits for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180ยฐC (350ยฐF) and grease a cake pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk eggs and honey until smooth and slightly frothy.
- Mix in Greek yogurt and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, combine ground almonds, baking powder, and salt.
- Fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until fully combined.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 35โ40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool before removing from the pan and optionally decorate with fresh fruits.
