Description
Crispy and flavorful Garlic-Parmesan Oven Carrots, roasted to perfection with a hint of garlic and optional chili, topped with fresh parsley for a delicious side dish.
Ingredients
- 600 g carrots, peeled and cut into sticks (or baby carrots)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2-3 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
- 1/4 tsp chili flakes (optional for heat)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F).
- In a large bowl, toss carrot sticks with olive oil, garlic, garlic powder, chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
- Spread carrots evenly on a baking sheet.
- Roast for 20–25 minutes, turning halfway through, until tender and lightly golden.
- Sprinkle Parmesan over carrots and roast for another 5 minutes until melted and golden.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- For a spicier version, increase chili flakes to taste.
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor.
