Description

Ingredients
- 250 g butter, softened
- 200 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 300 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 tsp lemon zest
- 100 ml lemon juice
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a loaf or bundt pan.
- In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Fold in flour, baking powder, salt, and lemon zest until combined.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 45–50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cake cool slightly, then drizzle with lemon juice mixed with powdered sugar to make a glaze.

- For extra lemon flavor, add a teaspoon of lemon extract to the batter.
